The Mama Zahra Foundation (MZF) focuses on several key areas to support vulnerable communities in Somalia. These include child protection and support for street children by creating safe spaces and offering education and rehabilitation programs; women’s empowerment and gender equality through rights advocacy, skills training, and economic opportunities; healthcare and nutrition by improving access to medical services and addressing malnutrition; peacebuilding and governance to promote social cohesion and strengthen local governance; education and vocational training to enhance youth employability; and humanitarian aid and disaster response by providing emergency assistance and supporting recovery efforts to restore livelihoods.
